Welcome to the Educators section of our website! Here you will find helpful information to help plan your next Field Trip or Outreach adventure with KidSenses Children’s Interactive Museum. We are pleased to announce the arrival of the 2018 – 2019 Educator’s Guide! In this guide you will discover a wide variety of hands-on STEM programs designed to actively engage your students through hands-on learning experiences.
Many of our Assembly Programs, Workshops, and Planetarium Shows correlate directly with the North Carolina Essential Standards for Science. When you are ready to schedule your Field Trip or Outreach Program, please call the KidSenses Scheduling Coordinator at 828-286-2120.

Planning Your Field Trip
KidSenses Children’s Interactive Museum offers field trips to a variety of community-based organizations and educational institutions, such as public and private schools, daycares, preschools, day camps, community facilities, libraries, charitable organizations, and church/religious groups. Here you will find information regarding scheduling a Field Trip to the museum.
Flexible Programs
Enhance your Field Trip Experience with an Assembly Program , Garden Tour, or Hands-on Workshop. Many of our programs correlate directly with the North Carolina Essential Standards for Science. What is a Group?
Groups without reservations and accompanying forms will not be admitted at the group rate. One adult chaperone is required for every five (5) students.
Admission and Payment
Student Admission: $5.00 +tax
Student Admission + Program: $10.00 +tax
Teachers: FREE
Bus/Van Drivers: FREE
Chaperones: $4.00 +tax

What is Science on the Move?
Science on the Move is an outreach program designed to bring exciting and dynamic learning experiences to your location. Our team of talented informal educators will amaze your students, as they present exciting science demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
