Plan Your Field Trip

Enhance The Learning Experience

A field trip to KidSenses offers a learning opportunity like no other. The colorful and stimulating museum environment allows teachers and their students to explore important classroom subjects in a new and fun way. Through our interactive programs and exhibits, education becomes an adventure! To assist you in planning your visit, please review these helpful tips.

What is a group?

A group is ten or more paying visitors who have made reservations at least two weeks in advance. Groups without reservations and accompanying forms will not be admitted at the group rate.

Admission and Payment

Students: $4.00/student Teachers: FREE Chaperones: $1.00/chaperone required for every five (5) students. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. If your check amount exceeds the amount owed, KidSenses will send a refund check within 30 days of your visit. Membership cards may not be used with group rates. Our LUNCH ROOM is available for your group’s use (30 minutes) at a fee of $10. Please request the lunch room when you schedule your trip. Food and drink are not permitted in the museum and should stay in the lunch room.

Chaperones

Chaperones help ensure a safe and pleasant visit for students and other visitors. As a result, we require one chaperone for every five students. Student behavior and supervision is the responsibility of the teacher or group leader at all times during your visit at the museum. While it is permissible for your students to explore individual exhibits on their own, please do not release your students to explore all areas of the museum unattended.

Making a Reservation

Group reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Reserve early to get your desired date! Reservations can be made Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at (828) 286-2120.
